Carl Albert Panzram Jr., known as the "Beast of Borneo", was born in 1891 in Minnesota. He was convicted of first-degree murder on June 26, 1925, after killing his mother's boyfriend, William Henry White. The crime occurred at White's apartment in St. Paul, Minnesota
Panzram was executed by hanging at St. Cloud State Prison on January 23, 1927 for first-degree murder.
